The Invention Convention - Partners & Sponsors

Welcome to the partners & sponsors section of our website. First let us say thank you... thank you, thank you, thank you. For over 15 years local businesses have provided the support and guidance to our program allowing us to reach tens of thousands of kids, to reward them with over $400,000 in college scholarships, and to help support local teachers and schools. Without our great sponsors none of this is possible and if you've had the opportunity to talk with a student, parent, or teacher about the program then you know how important this program is to students and how it can change their lives. Learning to solve problems as a child, mastering creative skills, and the self esteem and self confidence it builds is invaluable. So once again, thank you.

Our mission is to provide as many schools and students with this wonderful opportunity as possible. Just Think Inc is a 501(c)3 non-profit so we rely entirely on your donations. Fundraising is neither fun or easy, but what we do is important. We have hundreds of individual stories, and we've heard hundreds of stories from teachers and parents - you can help us make a difference.

If you take a look around our website you will see some of the success stories, the results are really quite remarkable. Invention Convention Students have earned provisional patents, been inducted to The National Gallery for America's Young Inventors, sold their ideas, and appeared on local and national talk shows. Most importantly, they have learned critical like skills that will benefit them for the rest of their lives. At a time when education is struggling, this is a great opportunity to give back to local schools.

We run a very lean organization and every dollar makes a difference. A small amount goes a long way with us. We are always working on reaching more students, expanding and improving the opportunities we give to students and teachers, and recognizing the accomplishments of great local students.

We are always interested in developing new partnerships. In 2006, we worked with Design Central to take two inventions from prototype to professional design. In 2007, we worked with Honda of America to add an environmental exercise in the Teacher Lesson Planning Guide. In 2009, we worked with Time Warner Cable to add the "Coolest Creations Contest." We'd love to sit down and talk with you and see what else we can do to support local schools and students.

We have been blessed to work with so many great partners and sponsors over the years, and we thank you for your continued support previously, currently, and into the future.

Please contact us if you or someone you know or an organization or business you know would make a great partner.

We need your help!

Just Think Inc. is a 501c3 company.

"In a hundred years from now it will not matter what my bank account was, the type of house I lived in, or the kinds of clothes I wore, but the world may be much different because I was important in the life of a child." - Anonymous

The focus of The Invention Convention is young people - helping them learn and develop. The Invention Convention provides them with opportunities, and supports and encourages their dreams. The program helps kids build critical problem solving and life skills. Winning is the goal, but through the tool of invention, the journey is the true reward.

It's an exciting time for us at Just Think Inc. - 2006 marked the beginning of a statewide expansion across the State of Ohio. We will hold several regional Invention Conventions with a State Final bringing in the best inventions from each regional competition. We will reach hundreds of thousands of kids, and local schools to help support their communities. We have 15+ years of service in Ohio, and are excited about the growth of the program - as we help even more of Ohio's youth to think, learn, and create.

This is a great opportunity and we welcome new partners and sponsors who share our vision and believe in supporting Ohio's kids. The Invention Convention is an opportunity to be a part of something important... a child's life. And who knows, maybe you'll find your future CEO or an employee who will invent a product that turns your company into the next GE or Google.

Thank you.
