We need your help to keep this program in schools.
Since 1993 - JUST THINK Inc has brought the Invention Convention to schools, at no charge. A 501(c)3 non-profit organization; JUST THINK is 100% financed by donations and contributions from Central Ohio's leading individuals and organizations who share our vision... and see the long-term benefits of bringing a fully funded 'creative problem solving' curriculum to local students and school systems. Critical Thinking is a 21st century skill crucial to everyone's future success... students, business leaders, fortune 500 companies, our own communities. Children are no different, and if we equip our future business owners and community leaders with those skills now - today - we have gone a long way toward not only solving future problems, but actually preventing them.
Each and every year we commit to bringing this 5-month, complete, turnkey program to any public/private or home schooled teacher requesting it. That means 145,000 central Ohio K-8 grade learners, in 32 districts over 19 counties, are learning how to 'think out of the box'...innovate...invent...and 'problem solve' their way to success in any given year. This takes money. It is critical that we continue to offer The Invention Convention free to students and schools to level the playing field of success- and so no child is prevented from participating due to their families' economic condition.
With G&T educational funding being slashed from 41 to 28 million in Ohio in 2010 - the need has never been greater. These same conditions underscore that there has never been a greater need for problem solvers.
We are committed to those future problem solvers. Your contribution will allow students to continue to receive the Invention Convention program in their schools. We are a 501c3 non-profit organization; all contributions are tax deductible. We will send you a receipt for your tax-deductible donation. We accept all levels of donations and are excited to enable anyone who supports young people to make a contribution in an easy simple way.
