The Invention Convention is a yearlong culmination of effort by teachers and faculty, the creativity of student inventors and the hard work of Invention Convention staff and volunteers. For those who participate, great strides have been made to assure the Invention Convention will be fair, fun and inspirational. The 2010 Columbus Regional Invention Convention will be held on Saturday, May 29, 2010 at COSI - 333 W. Broad St, Columbus, OH 43215. As in previous years at Veterans Memorial Hall, parking is standard parking rates. Each student inventor will be sent a packet of information that includes a confirmation letter and their colored name badge. The badge color designates which time session the student will show their invention to the judges. The badge also designates their booth number. Here are badge examples with the judge schedule. Here is the list of participants by last name and the booth number - badge color key. Each of the six grade categories (K-2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7&8) has their own judging room at COSI. The Map of COSI below shows the location of each of the grade category rooms as well as the student entrance and location of the awards ceremony. Grades K, 1 & 2 are in Mezzanine West.
